Adult Intensive Program
Summer 2025
City Ballet’s Adult Intensive is designed specifically for adults with a passion for ballet. The program offers three weeks of classes and rehearsals, under the direction of Steven and Elizabeth Wistrich, culminating with a performance.

Class Information
Beginning Level
Minimum of at least one year of previous ballet class experience required
Tuesdays:
7:00pm to 8:30pm: Technique
8:30pm to 9:30pm: Rehearsal
Thursdays:
7:00pm to 8:30pm: Technique
8:30pm to 9:30pm: Rehearsal
Saturdays:
11:00am – 12:30pm: Technique
12:30pm – 1:30pm: Pilates
1:30pm – 2:00pm: Lunch Break
2:00pm – 5:00pm: Rehearsal
Sundays:
10:00am – 11:30am: Technique
11:30am – 12:00pm: Lunch Break
12:00pm – 1:00pm: Pilates
1:00pm – 4:00pm: Rehearsal
Intermediate / Advanced Level
Tuesdays:

Ballet Attire
Women
Classes: Leotard – any color and style, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, optional short Georgette chiffon skirt any color.
Performance: Black leotard, any style, preferably camisole or tank. Pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Black short Georgette chiffon skirt.
Hair neatly pulled back, preferably in a bun
Men
Black tights, leggings, or shorts, dance belt, T-shirt any color, ballet shoes (white or black).
Performance: White T-shirt, and all else same as above.
Longer hairstyles should be pulled back off the face.
For the Pilates based Body Conditioning class each student will need a Yoga mat and socks.

Tuition
Tuition includes all classes, rehearsals, performance, video link of the performance and four complementary tickets to the performance.
Beginning Level: $750
Intermediate / Advanced: $750

Space is filled on a first come, first served basis. A limited number of students may be enrolled for Adult Intensive.
