Chiara Valle<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

 a native of New York<\/span>, is a Company Artist with City Ballet<\/span> of San Diego<\/span>. She has performed in a variety of works including George Balanchine\u2019s<\/span> Rubies<\/cite>, Four Temperaments<\/cite>, Serenade<\/cite> and Le Baiser<\/span> de la F\u00e9e<\/span><\/cite>, Elizabeth Wistrich\u2019s<\/span> Still World<\/span> Turning Again<\/span><\/cite>, The Nutcracker<\/cite>, A Midsummer<\/span> Night\u2019s Dream<\/cite>, Raymonda<\/cite>, Paquita<\/cite>, La Bayadere<\/cite>, Beyond the Circle<\/cite>, Straw Feet<\/cite>, Don Quixote<\/cite> and Romeo and Juliette<\/cite> as well as Geoff Gonzalez\u2019s<\/span> Rhapsody in Blue<\/cite>, Four Seasons<\/cite>, An American in Paris<\/cite>, Carmina Burana<\/cite> and Summer Wind<\/cite>. Prior to joining City Ballet<\/span> of San Diego<\/span> in 2020<\/span>, Chiara began her professional journey as a Trainee with The Washington Ballet under the direction of Julie Kent<\/span>. She danced in productions on The Kennedy Center Stage with The Washington Ballet, including Giselle<\/cite>, Les Sylphides<\/cite>, The Dream<\/cite>, and The Nutcracker<\/cite>.\n\nChiara received her early training at Manhattan Youth Ballet (MYB)<\/span>, JKO School<\/span> at American Ballet Theatre (JKO at ABT)<\/span>, and Ballet Academy East (BAE)<\/span> in New York City<\/span>. She spent her summers attending Chautauqua Institution, Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell<\/span>, Boston Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Ellison Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Kirov Ballet Academy. While still a student, Chiara was invited by Patricia McBride<\/span> and Jean-Pierre<\/span> Bonnefoux to dance as an Apprentice with The Chautauqua Institution, having the opportunity to dance in company productions with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Charlotte Ballet. Chiara was also a part of American Ballet Theatre\u2019s World premiere of The Nutcracker<\/cite> by Alexei Ratmansky<\/span>, where students worked directly with Ratmansky and the building of a new ballet. In 2022, Chiara joined the school faculty for City Ballet<\/span> of San Diego<\/span>, after being a substitute teacher for the previous 2 years.
